Last Alarm: Retired Lt. Robert Fernandez

Born January 12th, 1950 in La Junta, Colorado to Dora Hurtado and Julio Fernandez, Lieutenant Robert Fernandez was the fourth son of eight children. Condition 2 Fire at W. Missouri Ave.

Last Thursday, EPFD crews responded to a Condition 2 Fire at a commercial building on West Missouri Avenue. Crews quickly knocked down the fire. No injuries were reported. Incident remains under investigation.

Two Rescues at the Border Wall

Last week, the EPFD Special Rescue crews assisted federal law enforcement on Paisano and the Spur after two individuals fell from the border wall. Both patients were transported in stable condition and the scene was then turned back over to federal authorities.
