It is with a heavy heart that we inform of the passing of Retired Captain Antonio C. Muro.
Captain Antonio C. Muro was born on December 19, 1945 and passed away on October 23, 2020 at the age of 74. He was a military veteran proudly serving our country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged at the conclusion of his service. From the Navy he joined the El Paso Fire Department where he worked for 29 years dedicated to his service. His career spanned from December 1, 1969 to September 8, 1998. Noted assignments include Lieutenant on Pumper 26 and Captain on Pumper 29 making Fire Station #17 his last alarm.
Captain C. Muro is survived by his wife of 50 years, and three children. He loved spending time with all of his 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who brought him so much laughter and love to his life.
