The annual Medal Day Ceremony took place Feb. 1 at EPCC’s Administrative Services Center Auditorium. More than 100 recipients were in attendance along with their family and friends.
The event was emceed by Fire Deputy Chief, Daniel Roy, who announced all of the awards including the Civilian of the Year, Firefighter of the Year and Unit of the Year.
The recipients of those awards were: Jaime Delgado, Civilian of the Year; Lt. Jose “JJ” Cervantes, Firefighter of the Year; and Communications, Unit of the Year.
