Earlier, the Combined Search and Rescue Team, comprised of members from the EPFD, EPPD, and Texas State Park, responded to a report of an injured individual on Mundy’s Gap. Crews successfully rescued and transported the patient to medical care.
MVA Rescue at Border HWY
Earlier this morning, EPFD crews responded to reports of a vehicle that drove off the Border HWY and into the canal. EPFD transported one patient with minor injuries. A few minutes ago, the vehicle was recovered with the help of a wrecker. EPPD is investigating the incident.

Condition 2 Fire at Montana Ave.
This morning, EPFD crews responded to a Condition 2 fire at Blue Diamond Shirts on Montana Ave. Crews quickly contained the fire and rescued an individual from the building, the patient was checked at the scene for minor injuries. The incident is under investigation.
