Firefighter Luis Zubia Jr., 56, passed away the morning of March 17, 2023.
A graduate from the El Paso Fire Department Trainee Class 64, Firefighter Zubia Jr. served our community for 26 years and retired in 2018 from P20 “B” shift. As an avid baseball fan and player, many of us remember seeing Firefighter Luis Zubia Jr. working with the Chihuahuas and taking few moments to catch up with him. Details for his services are below.
On Thursday, March 23, visitation will be from 1700 to 2100hrs, with the rosary beginning at 1900hrs at Funeria del Angel Central located at 3839 Montana Ave.
On Friday, March 24, funeral mass will be at 1300hrs at St Patrick’s Cathedral located at 1118 North Mesa. Funeral procession and burial will be immediately following the mass and will be located at Restlawn Memorial Park, 8700 Dyer St.
